Christmas Blends of Essential Oils

A combination of purposely chosen scents that entangle you with joy and the true meaning of Christmas spirit.

Can you believe it’s that time of year again? The hustle and bustle. The worry of trying to remember if you have done everything on your to-do list. However, over the years, Christmas may have lost its traditional meaning, becoming more and more materialistic and focused more on the quantity of gifts, rather than the quality and time spent with loved ones.

Here at Buckley and Phillips Aromatics we believe that with the use of essential oil blends we can bring back the meaning of Christmas, create that aura of excitement we had as children, and revisit happy memories with friends and family.

Did you know that the sense of smell is one of the most powerful senses that cannot be turned off? As humans we are disconnected from our sense of smell and rely much more on our vision for everyday life compared to our sense of smell. However, the sense of smell can bring so much more meaning to us than we originally thought.

We have created a list of products from our Christmas essential oil blends range and explained the benefit of some of the scents found in each. With this information you can make an informed decision to pick the right blend for you, your home and your family.

Please note, we have not listed all of the essential oils ingredients for each product. Only a selection. For more information on the full list of ingredients, please see our Gumleaf Essentials Christmas list.

All of our Christmas essential oil blends are available in an essential oil blend to add to diffusers or oil burners, or in a scent cake to melt in a burner, as well as a Christmas soy candle designed in a metallic glass jar - a beautiful addition to any Christmas decor.

You can smell the festivities in the air.

Frankincense and Myrrh - Christmas in a Bottle

Nothing is more traditional than Frankincense and Myrrh. This is the perfect Christmas essential oil blend to be used in diffusers, oil burners, bath or blended for massage.

This perfect duo epitomises the meaning of Christmas, the ideal scent for soothing and calming during the busy period.

The base note of Frankincense Boswellia Serrata provides a relaxing and calming atmosphere. In addition to helping to soothe away fear and anxiety.

Myrrh has been used for a meditative and soothing effect. Myrrh also inspires tranquility and eases uncertainty.

Geranium has been added to uplift and balance mood swings. Patchouli helps with grounding and stabilising.

Any Christmas anxiety or uncertainty will melt away with this warm and revitalising combination.

Lemon Myrtle and Eucalyptus - An Australian Summer Bushland

Does Christmas bring on that rushed and confused feeling? Too many things to do and the feeling of not having enough time?

Try our Lemon Myrtle and Eucalyptus blend. Lemon myrtle is known to help with concentration and clearing the mind. Eucalyptus peppermint gum aids with mental fatigue and clarity while eucalyptus blue mallee clears the head, and is refreshing and cleansing.

With the addition of Sandalwood as a base oil, it is perfect for calming and harmonising. Lavender Tasmanian as a mid-note helps with soothing while relieving stress and irritability.

Place 3-5 drops in an oil diffuser or burner to unwind and clear the mind while you take a moment to refocus.

Sweet Orange and Clove Bud - That’s a Wrap

Some people love wrapping gifts, while others dread it. A few drops of this essential oil blend placed in a burner or diffuser will bring warming and positive vibes whilst wrapping those gifts.

Sweet orange that’s refreshing as well as stress relieving. Clove bud essential oil for warming and stimulating.

With scents of nutmeg for creative inspiration and enthusiasm, as well as cinnamon leaf for energising.

Try this essential oil blend while wrapping gifts to keep your spirits up. A great balance of soothing and stimulating whilst keeping energy levels raised and providing positivity.

We believe you will love our new Gumleaf Christmas Essential products as much as we do. If you’d like more information on the benefits of each essential oil, as well as aromatherapy recipe ideas, please see our downloadable pdf Essential Oil Guide.
