Though Sydney's food scene is renowned for its incredible flavours, international cuisine, and lovely dining experiences, it's the southern suburb of Caringbah that really stands out. You could spend weeks here just trying out new and interesting places to eat. That being said, here are five restaurants that should be at the top of your list: 

1. Kanji Fresh Sushi

Kanji Fresh Sushi is known for its menu of Japanese food, though their sushi is definitely their star. Their selection of sushi is made using fresh ingredients and offered at very affordable prices, making it a favourite takeaway spot for locals and tourists. 

If you'd like to try Kanji Fresh Sushi's delicious sushi for yourself, you can find them at 339 Kingsway. They're open every day of the week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

2. Bistro 32

If you love the world-famous French cuisine, you'll adore Bistro 32. They serve a wide selection of traditional French dishes, including soufflé, passionfruit meringue, roast duck, and much more. With its peaceful and sophisticated environment, Bistro 32 is worth a visit for any foodie.

Bistro 32 is open for supper from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday. You can find their lovely restaurant at 32 President Avenue.

3. Thai Bay

There are a few features of Thai Bay that set them apart from other restaurants, with the most notable being they allow you to bring your own alcohol. This saves guests lots of money and lets them more thoroughly enjoy the restaurant's great atmosphere, authentic Thai dishes, and big portion sizes.

You can find Thai Bay at 6/307 Kingsway, where they operate every day of the week except Monday. Their hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Thursday and 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 





4. Thai Ingah Restaurant

Thai Ingah is another popular Thai restaurant in Caringbah. Known for their authentic menu, which includes stir-fry, duck salad, curry, and more, Thai Ingah is a great place to visit for small and large groups alike. 

To dine at Thai Ingah, simply stop by their restaurant at 367 Port Hacking Road any day of the week. They're open for supper from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

5. Langkawi Restaurant

If you enjoy Indian food, you'll love the menu at Langkawi Restaurant. They serve all the staples of Indian cuisine, including naan bread, onion bhajia, Kashmiri lamb, and more. With everything cooked beautifully by their chef in a very homey atmosphere, you're sure to enjoy your dining experience at Langkawi. 


You can dine at Langkawi every day of the week other than Monday. They are open every day except Monday, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday to Sunday. Visit them at 359 Port Hacking Road.
