The Best Foods to Eat for Breakfast



When it comes to choosing what you will have for breakfast, there are countless healthy options you can pick from; from eggs to pancakes to waffles, bacon and pastry. Therefore, there is no need to restrict yourself to only a few delicious dishes that will kick start your morning with a full supply of energy. This is basically because eating breakfast has been proven to give your metabolism a jump start.

The main key to enjoy your breakfast and stay healthy is to identify foods that are rich in resistant starch such as oats, cereals and bananas. There is need to go for a breakfast that has a combination of good carbohydrates, fiber and a little bit of proteins to keep yourself healthy. Below are some favorite options of healthy breakfast foods;

1. Oatmeal.

Oats are known to contain beta-glucan which is a type of fiber that has proved to help drop cholesterol levels if eaten on a regular basis. You should consider oatmeal for breakfast because they are also very rich in potassium, omega-3 fatty acids and folate. Having oatmeal every morning will guarantee you a healthy life because of its balanced nutrients content.

2. Eggs.

One of the best foods to eat for breakfast are eggs because they are known to be the super supplier of good proteins and an accumulation of various healthy nutrients which include choline, a fat burning component. Choline is a fat burning component that helps the body by attacking the gene mechanism that prompt your body to accumulate fat around your liver. If you are big on burning fat and maintaining a trim body, including eggs in your breakfast will give you a less egg-shaped body.

3. Chicken Breasts.

As much as most people find it awkward to have chicken for an average breakfast, you should consider chicken rather some leftover chicken meal like breasts and a combination of fiber-rich veggies and lean protein that will keep you full and supply you with sufficient energy for the whole day.

4. Bananas.

Bananas are not only rich in potassium but they are also known to be number one source of water and fiber. Having a slice of banana or two in a bowl of unsweetened oatmeal will definitely keep you healthy by burning fat, therefore making it one of the best foods to eat for breakfast.

5. Sweet Potatoes.

Sweet potatoes are vibrant tubers which happen to be super foods for healthy breakfast because they are rich in nutrients and can help you burn excessive fat as you enjoy your breakfast every morning. They also contain fiber and a low glycemic index which are absorbed slowly, therefore keeping you full for long hours. This is a factor that makes sweet potatoes one of the best foods to eat for breakfast.

6. Cereal.

Choosing the best can be quite a tiresome task because there are very many varieties of breakfast cereal in the market. However, the best healthy breakfast cereal should contain no more than 5 grams of sugar and at least 5 grams of fiber. Also look for cereals which are fortified with folic acid, riboflavin and other useful nutrients needed by your body to kick start your morning.

You should note that the above mentioned foods for breakfast will speed up your fat burning process and make you lead a healthy and comfortable life as you enjoy your favorite options without fear every day.
